Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar for 5 minutes, add eggs, lemon zest and lemon juice.
In a bowl combine, flour, salt and baking powder.
Add the dry ingredients to the mixture above and the almonds.
Cut the dough in half and form a roll kind of shape and bake.
Once the 25 minutes have past, take them out of the oven let it cool for 10 minutes and make diagonal cuts and place the slices cut side up back onto the baking sheet. Bake for an additional 10 minutes on each side.
