STUFFED CROISSANT

INGREDIENTS

1 tube of paste prepared for croissant. (found in the refrigerated area of the supermarket)
8 slices mozzarella cheese small.
2 slices of turkey ham into strips, leaving a total of 8 strips.
8 teaspoons of prepared pizza sauce.

DIRECTIONS

Separate dough and place one teaspoon of sauce in the center of the dough.

Place 1 slice of cheese over the sauce.

Place a strip of turkey ham.

Shape the croissant.

Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 16 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve and enjoy.

BREAD STUFFED WITH GARLIC BUTTER, PARMESAN CHEESE AND BASIL

Simple is always delicious.

This recipe is inspired by my daughter.
She loves bread in all its forms, and I recently discovered this great tool to make bread more often,refrigerated dough for bread.
But do not think the dough is so simple, prepared butter gave it a unique flavor, my family loved it I hope that yours too.
Enjoy it.

INGREDIENTS

1 stick unsalted butter at room temperature
1 tube of French-type bread dough Pillsbury brand
2 cloves of garlic
8 fresh basil leaves
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

For the next step I recommend using a food processor.
Place the garlic, basil, salt and butter in processor and press until well incorporated.
Place mixture in a bowl and add the Parmesan cheese.
Remove the dough from the package and make a cut in the center, brush the butter and place on tray.

Bake for 30 minutes.

It is an excellent choice to accompany any meal or event.

HOMEMADE STUFFED RIPE PLANTAINS

One of the heritage of my grandmother are these delicious plantains, so traditional and special for an afternoon coffee.

INGREDIENTS

2 ripe plantains
1 / 4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 / 12 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon honey
2 tablespoons cup corn flour (maseca)
1 / 2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon oil

DIRECTIONS

Leave the plantain with the peel and cook for 10 minutes. Puree and cool.
Add the honey, cinnamon, melted butter and cornmeal. The mixture will remain sticky.
Flour your hands and make balls, flatten a little bit and put the cheese in the center and close.
Melt butter with oil in hot skillet over medium heat place the plantain pancakes and cook for 4 minutes on each side.

May be accompanied by sour cream mixed with a teaspoon of sugar.

Makes 8 servings.
