Stir-Fry Rice with Turkey Bacon and EggsInspired by all the kinds of bacon that you can find on the market and because on a holiday I want to relax and cook something simple, I create this delicious, easy and super fast recipe, that way you can relax with me this Labor Day.
Our friend Foodie Stuntman is hosting this week a fabulous event, celebrating Labor Day and the unofficial ending of the summer, which is really sad, and we join him with delicious recipes so you can also be inspired by great food, drinks and desserts.
So grab a chair a plate and some napkins because you are here for a feast.

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 slices of turkey bacon chopped
  • 3 cups of cooked white rice
  • 2 garlic cloves mince
  • 2 cooked scramble eggs
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • Salt to taste (if necessary)

DIRECTIONS

Heat a pan to medium high heat, add the oil,  turkey bacon and garlic, cook for 5 minutes, add the rice and soy sauce, mix add the peas and the eggs, stir until well combined. Taste the rice before serving to check the salt.
Serve immediately, is better hot with a side of cucumbers or a salad.

Serve 4 people.

STUFFED CROISSANT

Excellent choice for a snack after school.

Quick, easy, economic and delicious.
Make these recipes at home is perfect and we are sure that what our family eat is healthy.
These new options will help you to have most peaceful days and you can have delicious snacks.

INGREDIENTS

1 tube of paste prepared for croissant. (found in the refrigerated area of the supermarket)
8 slices mozzarella cheese small.
2 slices of turkey ham into strips, leaving a total of 8 strips.
8 teaspoons of prepared pizza sauce.

DIRECTIONS

Separate dough and place one teaspoon of sauce in the center of the dough.

Place 1 slice of cheese over the sauce.

Place a strip of turkey ham.

Shape the croissant.

Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 16 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve and enjoy.

This recipe makes 8 croissant.

SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

I am a lover of Italian food, and I always try to recreate some of the classics.

For example, this spaghetti instead of beef use ground turkey because I have young girls and does not contain red wine.
The result is delicious, full of flavor and this is especially for those who want to care for the calories.
This pasta is the best for weekends, can make a large amount and save the rest for other days.
There are many ideas and you will put its magic touch to make it even more delicious.

INGREDIENTS

1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound of ground turkey
1 tablespoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 can tomato sauce 425 grams
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 / 2 cup chopped parsley salt and pepper to taste
1 cup of water where the pasta is cooking 1 box of Penne pasta

DIRECTIONS

Cook pasta according to package directions.
In a saucepan heat oil and melt butter, add onion, garlic, oregano and meat, cook for 8 minutes. Following this add the tomato paste and stir well with meat, add the ketchup and tomato sauce and the water that reserves of the pasta, add salt and pepper to taste and simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat.
Once ready incorporate the pasta and stir well, add the parsley and serve.

You may sprinkle parmesan cheese and be accompanied by toasted bread.

Serves 8 people.

TURKEY GYOSA

As a lover of cooking, I enjoy trying new recipes.

And Asian cuisine is very versatile, this type of food is delicious and inexpensive.
You can serve at a party or as a main course at dinner, very fast to prepare and delicious as always.
I invite you to venture into this recipe and try different fillings, it is worth trying.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound of ground turkey
1 / 2 cup chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 / 2 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup of water plus 1/4 more to close the wonton
1 package of Wonton wrapper

DIRECTIONS

Mix the turkey with salt, garlic powder, vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard and cilantro.
Place 1 / 2 teaspoon of the filling into in the center of the Wonton and close putting water on the sides and giving it the shape you want.
In a saucepan, heat a teaspoon of oil and place the gyosas, let it brown for 3 minutes, add half cup of water and cover immediately.
Let it finish cooking for 8 minutes.
Serve immediately.

SWEET SAUCE

Mix 1 / 2 cup light soy sauce with 1 / 4 cup honey.

This recipe makes 60 Gyosas.

TURKEY PATTIES AND SWEET POTATO FRIES

If you have never tasted turkey, this is a great way to start.

The patties are so juicy and full of flavor that no one would say that they are eating turkey meat.
The most amazing is that this type of meat is underestimated by many, and is actually very versatile and healthy.
I assure you that even the little ones will line up to eat.
And the fries are delicious, I leave this idea to try it and tell me later.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound of ground turkey
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3 sprigs of chopped green onion
6 tablespoons of masa MASECA ®
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl mix the mustard,sauce, garlic, oregano and green onions.
Add turkey meat and stir well.
Add salt and pepper, egg and MASECA ® harina slowly until it is all incorporated.
Form patties and fry in a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil for 4 minutes on each side, brown on the outside and juicy inside.
Yield 16 patties.

FOR FRENCH FRIES

Cut sweet potatoes into long strips and fry in plenty of oil for 5 minutes.
Drain on a plate lined with paper towels and sprinkle with coarse salt to enhance the flavor.
