I want to share with you today a delicious and different recipe, the perfect appetizer for any kind of party. It is so good the even your kids are going to love this recipe.
Ok no more misteries, I made for you today a delicious, easy and crunchy chicken taquitos with a honey soy sauce, yes you are not going to believes how easy it is to make this recipe and so fast.
With only 7 ingredients it is perfect to take to any party or just to eat it by yourself.

One ingredient the I love to use in my house is Kikkoman Soy Sauce is a versatile ingredient that can be used to cook many different types of cuisines, and is a flavor enhancer, to qualities the a great sauce must have.

This ingredient is key in my sauce, no extra salt and no other species are necessary to give this recipe the perfect personal touch that I know you can give it.

If you want to vary the meat, consider using pork, sausages or tofu, this are different and great ideas to shake it up a little this delicious taquitos. Just make sure that the pork and the sausages are completely cook before hand.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups shredded roast chicken
  • 10 flour tortillas medium size
  • 1/2 cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • pinch of salt
  • Oil to fry

DIRECTIONS

In a pan heat the oil to medium low heat.
Add some salt to the chicken if necessary; heat up the tortillas in the microwave for 45 seconds and keep then warm.
Place about 1/4 cup of the chicken in the tortilla and roll up to make the taquito, secure with a toothpick.
Place each taquito in the skillet and cook on both sides until golden brown about 2 minutes per side.
One ready make de sauce, just mix soy sauce, sesame oil and honey until combine.

Serve hot or room temperature, if you want to make more than 10 just doble the recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups cook white rice
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cup rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup slice mushroom
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS

In Wok or pan heat the oil add mushrooms, bean sprouts and carrots, cook for 3 minutes, add rice, chicken stir well then add the soy sauce and stir for 2 more minutes.
Now its ready to serve with a side of greens just perfect.

Yield 6 servings.

Chicken FajitasI’m so happy to be back after that long break, we had an awesome time with the family and enjoy some quality time together.
And for this #weekdaysupper I have for you the most easy recipe ever, this fajita recipe is delicious, easy and super economical, and because I know how busy everybody is right now I just have to share it with you all.
Take a look to the ingredients and see if you can make this tonight, I know the you still have some turkey or chicken leftover.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups leftover chicken or turkey cook.
  • 1 onion cut in Julienne
  • 1 red bell pepper cut in Julienne
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • Cilantro to garnish

DIRECTIONS

Heat a pan to medium heat, add little oil, cook onion and pepper for 3 minutes, then add the chicken, W sauce, salt and pepper, mix well and let it cook for 3 more minutes.
In the meantime place the tortillas is the microwave to warm them for 1 minute.
Now you can star assemble the tacos, just by putting some of the mixture in each tortilla and sprinkle some cilantro.

Yields 6 portions or 3 servings.

Chickpeas And Chicken Stew #WeekdaySupper

Chickpeas and chicken stewLast week of october and we haver warm cozy and delicious food for you, easy to make and perfect for every nigh meal.
This recipe is super simple, something the you can make in just 30 minutes, yes 30 because I know how stressful and tired it is to cook elaborated meals, during the week.
This stew is perfect to complement rice or salad, is low in fact and use natural tomato juice, no worries is super simple to make, I’m sure you’re going to love it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 garlic clove mince
  • 3 carrots chopped
  • 1 can 14 ounces chickpeas, drained and rinse
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tight in chunks
  • 4 medium ripe tomatos
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon oil (any kind)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat the oil and add the onions and garlic, let it cook for 2 minutes, add the chicken cook for 5 minutes, in a food processor or blender, blend the tomatoes, skin and everything, add the tomato juice to the chicken with carrots and chickpeas, mix in the spices and the ketchup, lower the heat and cook for 23 minutes.
  2. This stew is ready to eat when the chicken is completely cook and soft.
  3. You can use chicken breast, add some parley or cilantro at the end for freshens.

Chicken Fried Rice #WeekdaySupper

Chicken Fried RiceLike I always promise this week #weekdaysupper is a simple recipe that can be made with leftovers rice and rotisserie chicken.
This is my version of a chinese classic in Costa Rica and I love it, it was my go to dish when I did not have time to cook.
A complete meal that only need a good salad, because you will feel very full with this.
A fast and simple fried rice my personal option even for a party, and the addition of carrots give it a nice crunch.
Hope you enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups of  cook white rice
  • 2 cups of rotisserie chicken in bite side pieces
  • 1 cup green onion chopped
  • 2 cups carrots minced
  • 6 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

DIRECTIONS

Heat a skillet to medium high heat and add the sesame oil, wait a minute and add the carrots, rice and chicken, stir for 3 minutes, add the soy sauce, green onions and salt, stir until everything is well combine, about 3 more minutes.

Put a lid on and let this delicious rice rest for a minute.
Serve with a side of salad or just like this.

Yields 6 servings.

PESTO CHICKEN SANDWICH

DSC_0811Definitely lunchtime we are always looking different sandwich options, get away from the routine of ham and turkey.
This sandwich gives us just that, a different option for us to enjoy a new flavor.
Pesto and chicken in a toasted bun, without the need to use special utensils, this sandwich is delicious and you will be able to use this same fill in pitas, tacos, burritos, etc..
I hope you like this new option for the entire family.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 mini baguettes
  • 2 chicken breasts cooked (roasted chicken preferably the day before)
  • 1/4 cup of pesto
  • 6 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter

DIRECTIONS

Cut in half each mini baguette, and spread each half with butter.
In a hot pan place the halves of bread and let brown, be careful not to burn the bread.

Remove from the pan and place a slice of cheese and chicken pieces in a half of bread and 2 teaspoons of pesto on the other half.
Assemble the two halves in the same pan add a teaspoon of butter and place the sandwich to brown the outside.

Serve immediately.

TRADITIONAL CHICKEN WITH POTATOES

As I said one day the chicken meat is one of my favorite and I try to create recipes that are easy and delicious for my family.

What better way to do it as a main dish by adding potatoes, the vegetables we all have in our pantry is versatile and does not need anything else.
Your family will love this different way of eating the chicken and potatoes as they complement each other perfectly in this recipe.
It only needs an occasional complement ingredient for this dish and you’re done, enjoy a delicious dinner. If you never tasted this kind of recipe I assure you that you will be happy and it will be one more way to prepare so delicious ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

2 chicken breasts boneless skinless cut into squares
8 medium potatoes cut into chunks
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 chopped red pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 cup of cilantro
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of achiote paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

In a saucepan heat oil and add onion, chicken, oregano, red pepper, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
Add garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, achiote and potatoes, stir well to coat chicken and vegetables with achiote.
Mix ketchup with water, add to the above, season well with salt and pepper, cover the pan, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes and chicken are well cooked.
Finally stir in cilantro and serve.

Makes 6 servings.

Preparation time 30 minutes.

I admit it I love chicken in all its forms.

I consider this type of meat one of the most versatile in the kitchen.
Fast to cook and can be include in almost any dish.
Roasted, grilled, in soups, etc., is always delicious.
This recipe is incredibly delicious and very easy to make, is prepared with ingredients that usually we have on hand.
If you have trouble getting your kids to eat vegetables, this recipe will help you to consume more often. We must be practical in the kitchen and this kind of recipes are ideal.

INGREDIENTS

2 chicken breasts without skin or bone, cut into small pieces
1 head of broccoli into florets
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 chopped yellow pepper
1 cup sliced ​​mushrooms
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

In search of delicious flavors and healthier meals for my family, I made this recipe is not only delicious but also low in calories.
As impressive as it may seem only has 180 calories per serving and the secret is to use not starchy vegetable.
So enjoy a good plate of this delicious and healthy stew.

INGREDIENTS

5 grams of skinless chicken breast cooked diced small
1 can diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons spicy homemade salsa

MY CHICKEN SOUP

 A necessity in these rainy afternoons or early winter when all we want is to stay in bed in pajamas with a delicious soup.
But our history with this recipe is very different.
We love it for the cold wheather but is delicious and comforting when we are sick, is an excellent choice it fills us with energy and as my granny said there is no better medicine than this soup.
So enjoy.

INGREDIENTS


2 whole chicken breasts
8 medium potatoes in chunks
1 onion, into chunks
1 red pepper in chunks
2 bay leaves
2 cups cilantro, not minced
2 teaspoons garlic powder
6 cups water
8 eggs
1 package of angel hair pasta
salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Put to cook the chicken in water with onion, red pepper, bay leaves, garlic powder, cilantro and potatoes about 45 minutes over medium heat.
Remove chicken and shred.
Add the eggs with the shell and let it cook for 5 minutes, during this time can also add the pasta.
Remove from heat and add the chicken.
