INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup red bell pepper
- 1 cup of broccoli florets
- 1 cup of chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 Hamburger Helper® Cheeseburger Macaroni Box
- Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
In a 10-inch skillet heat to medium heat melt butter, add onion and ground beef and cook until brown, add some salt and pepper.
Then add broccoli and carrots, cook for 2 minutes, add hot water, milk, seasoning mix and pasta, let it boil lower the heat, cover and cook for 12 minutes.
Once ready remove from heat, stir creamy cheddar cheese sauce and cilantro, mix well and serve.
This recipe makes 5 servings, you can serve a side of steam veggies to complement the ones already on it.
