Garlic Herb Mini RollsIf you have a lot of root vegetables sitting in the pantry or the fridge and you look at them like What am I gonna do with this? Well let me tell you we have the answer.
The #TwelveLoaves team put together a list of amazing recipes for you, all different with ingredients you never imagine and so easy, super delicious.
I made garlic, onion, herb mini rolls a simple bread made with ingredients you had in your house everyday and something you can whip up really fast.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1/3 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 cup sheered Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can of Pillsbury biscuits, I prefer the Grands Jr.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. Heat a pan, melt the butter add onion, garlic, dry oregano and parsley cook for 3, add some salt and pepper, let it cool completely.
  3. In the meantime open the tube of grands and using a rolling pin roll out a little, this is just a step so we can add some of the filing.
  4. Ok know add a teaspoon of the mixture in the center of the dough and a little cheese and roll, just like when you make a taquito, place in a baking sheet line with parchment paper, easy cleaning, pour the rest of the mixture on top with more cheese and bake for 20 minutes.

Yields 10 mini rolls.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 23 minutes

HEALTHY ZUCCHINI

This is a delicious option for seafood or chicken.

Very healthy and contains no fat. It is ideal for people who are on a diet because the zucchini is zero fat and low in calories.
If you eat this dish for dinner you will feel satisfied and will not cause any stomach heaviness.
Zucchini has a large amount of water and a very low caloric content has about 15 calories per 100 grams. It can be prepared in many ways and this recipe is one of them.
So enjoy more vegetables they are delicious and very good for the whole family.

INGREDIENTS

4 zucchini, cut into half moon
1 medium onion, cut into julienne
1 tomato, diced small
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon ketchup
Cooking spray

DIRECTIONS

In a hot pan spray with cooking spray add onion and tomato cook for 5 minutes.
Add the zucchini, salt, pepper, ketchup and garlic powder cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
Serve immediately.

Preparation time 30 minutes.

Serves 6 people.
