So happy to be back this Sunday to share delicious and fabulous food with all of you. And what better way that with the #SundaySupper family.
Today we have delicious hometown food, smoothies classic and unique the you love to eat growing up.
When I was little my favorite food was always rice, yes, rice with all things you can imagine, and very close to my house was this place where they had all things rice, sweet, savory, baked, fried, Oh My! delicious, and once my family and I used to go.
I prepare for you one of my all time favorites, this rice is just the perfect combination of, sweet and savory food, a classic in my hometown and now a go to for your family supper.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1/2 cup minced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup minced cilantro
- 3 cups parboil rice, already cook
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 3 cups cook pull pork
- 3 teaspoon achiote powder
- 1 teaspoon oil
DIRECTIONS
- Heat a pan to medium high heat, add the oil, onion and bell pepper, cook for 2 minutes, add the rice (remember the rice needs to be completely cook, and season with salt) and the achiote powder, mix until combine, than add the pull pork and mix until all the rice is uniformly with achiote and pork.
Before serving add the cilantro. - This recipe makes 6 servings.
