I make for you in this occasion Spooky Cookies, delicious sugar cookies decorated with Royal Icing. This recipe is not only delicious and easy but is a fabulous way to involve your kids and spend quality time with them, I know your going to love how easy and cute this cookies are.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter with sugar until light and fluffy, beat in egg and vanilla extract. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and add to butter mixture in 3 additions.
- Do not chill the dough, divide into two balls.
- On floured surface, roll each ball in 1/8 in. thick and using a cookie cutter, cut to shape each cookie. Bake on a cookie sheet for 8-12 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned.
- Once ready place on a rack to cool completely before icing.
- I used Royal Icing to decorated the cookies, but you can used any icing and decoration you want.
Yields 32 cookies.
